Job description

Valiant is looking for Subject Matter Expert Training Advisor to a join our team for a temporary assignment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Temporary Duty not to exceed 6 months in Rio Cuarto Air Base, Rio CuartoArgentina.
  • SME will work directly with Argentinian Air Force F-16 maintenance personnel.
  • Advise and provide training regarding proper F-16 aircraft maintenance techniques and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Favorable FBI Identity History Summary Check, Active Secret Preferred
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Extensive, documented 7-Level experience operating as a Crew Chief and/or Phase Dock Chief on the F-16 aircraft.
  • Cross-System Experience: Comprehensive experience and working knowledge across various F-16 aircraft systems, specifically including:
    • Avionics
    • Electrical Systems
    • Environmental Systems
    • Structures
    • Fuels
    • Egress Systems
    • Weapons Systems: Demonstrated knowledge of F-16 armaments and munitions systems.
    • Phased Inspection

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
  • Ability to use a computer, headset, and aircraft maintenance tools and test sets when necessary.
  • Clear verbal communication and active listening skills to participate in meetings and conduct language assessments.
  • Ability to read, review, and analyze Country-Specific Technical Orders and other written materials for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to approximately 35 pounds (such as laptops, documents, or small equipment), if applicable.
