Position Description:

The purpose of the position is to lead/manage a shift of valet drivers and promote an exceptional service experience at the luxury property or event while ensuring staff maintains safety protocols for all residents, visitors, guests, and building/event activities. The Valet Supervisor will be a team lead that will manage the responsibility of opening doors, greeting and promoting a welcoming environment and safe traffic flow of the valet operation.

Responsibilities:

The Valet Supervisor maintains accurate vehicle and key inventory during the shift they lead. They will oversee and manage the performance of their assigned team by leading the valet drivers. The Valet Driver Supervisor is to provide valet parking services safely and efficiently by briskly walking or running at an acceptable pace to retrieve vehicles and keep traffic flowing safely. They will ensure their team will greet incoming or outgoing residents/guests with eye contact and proper salutation. In order to ensure vehicles are properly accounted for, the Supervisor will provide guests with tickets, then ticket the vehicle and ticket vehicle keys. The Shift Supervisor drives resident and guest vehicles to a designated parking location. They must adhere to specified speed limits, traffic signs and traffic laws. The Valet Supervisor is to build rapport and provide professional and courteous service to all residents/guests/site representatives at Location Sites or Events, while following company policies, procedures, and contracts.

Requirements:

  1. Adhere to APC location site Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and site-specific training.
  2. Driver’s license & clean driving record.
  3. Ability to operate a manual vehicle ("stick shift").
  4. 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
  5. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  6. Customer service experience.
  7. Adhere to APC location site Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  8. Well groomed, professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills.
  9. Weekend and 2nd shift (3p-11p) availability required. Flexible availability; ability to provide coverage when requested.
  10. Ability to operate a stick shift vehicle preferred, not required.
  11. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk/jog to vehicles, get in and out of vehicles, and lift, push and pull at least 30 lbs.
  12. All other duties as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Schedule can be altered based on company needs. Regular hours of work can vary and includes weekends.
