We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the resort's facilities and villas to the highest standards, ensuring a safe, clean, and inviting environment for our owners and guests. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set encompassing various areas of maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, spa maintenance, basic home repair, IT, landscaping, and more.Duties include, but are not limited to the following:Diagnose, repair, and replace items and systems around the resort.
Respond to and fulfill maintenance tasks.Follow up on unresolved issues and ensure a quick resolution.
Work directly with guests and other departments to diagnose and repair issues.
Actively participate in specialty maintenance projects and resort upkeep.Qualifications:Basic Plumbing: Repair and maintain plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, and drains. Respond promptly to plumbing issues reported by staff or guests.
Electrical: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and fixtures. Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
Appliance Diagnosis: Assess and diagnose issues with resort appliances. Carry out repairs or coordinate with external service providers when necessary.
HVAC: Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure a comfortable environment for guests and staff. Coordinate with outside providers when needed.Spa Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of spa facilities, including hot tubs and pools.
Basic Home Maintenance: Address general home maintenance tasks such as replacing lights, painting, drywall patching, and furniture repair to uphold the resort's aesthetic standards.
Basic IT: Assist with basic IT troubleshooting, including resolving issues with computers, Wi-Fi, Televisions, and other electronic devices.
Landscaping: Perform basic landscaping tasks as needed to maintain the overall appearance of the resort grounds.
Trash Removal: Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain cleanliness in all designated areas, including dumpster locations.
Power Washing: Conduct power washing of exterior surfaces, including walkways, decks, and building exteriors, to maintain a clean and appealing environment.
BBQ Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and maintain barbecue grills to ensure they are safe and functional.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in a hospitality or resort setting.
Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance diagnosis.
Strong knowledge of general home maintenance tasks, IT troubleshooting, and landscaping.
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time to prioritize tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, perform manual labor, and work in various weather conditions.Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
