Job description

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and guest-focused team member to support the daily operation of our vacation rental properties. This is an in-person position combining reservation administration, guest communication, basic technology assistance, and visits to properties.


Responsibilities

  • Enter and update reservations accurately in our reservation and property-management systems.
  • Monitor and respond promptly and professionally to guest messages received through Airbnb, Vrbo, and other booking platforms.
  • Help guests resolve common issues involving Wi-Fi, televisions, air-conditioning controls, appliances, and other property features.
  • Program, update, and troubleshoot electronic door codes at various properties.
  • Visit properties to assist guests or address operational issues when remote support is insufficient.
  • Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance providers, property managers, and other team members.
  • Document guest issues, actions taken, and any required follow-up.
  • Escalate maintenance, safety, or service concerns appropriately.
  • Help maintain accurate property instructions, access information, and guest records.


Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly, calm, and professional when assisting guests.
  • Comfortable using computers, smartphones, messaging platforms, and online reservation systems.
  • Able to learn basic troubleshooting for Wi-Fi, televisions, air-conditioning controls, electronic locks, and similar property equipment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage several requests at once.
  • Dependable and able to work independently.
  • Prior hospitality, vacation-rental, hotel, customer-service, or property-management experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel between properties during scheduled working hours.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet any applicable driving requirements.


Physical and scheduling requirements

  • Ability to travel between multiple properties.
  • Ability to walk through properties, use stairs where applicable, and perform light hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Availability for weekends/weekends/holidays
