VRA is actively hiring a team (2-3 people), full-time, and part-time positions in our housekeeping department.


We are seeking staff from Reno, all areas of the North Shore, and Truckee/Donner.

JOB SUMMARY:

The house cleaner is responsible for cleaning vacation rentals throughout the service region (Truckee/Donner/Tahoe Vista). This position has the opportunity to work in the North Lake Tahoe area (Truckee/Donner) with additional pay benefits if interested.


VRA has created a system which automates your schedule, houses, linen, and provides all equipment needed. We love structure, and set schedules (not changing every week). While this position is independent in nature (working solo), we take pride in our cleaning team for working together, and helping each other when in need to get the job done, stress free.


Cleaning

  • Proficiently execute cleaning responsibilities, optimizing workflow, speed, and quality
  • Clean 1-2 homes per day throughout service region, organizing approach, and managing time
  • Execute a cleaning checklist to complete kitchens, bathrooms, BBQ's, vacuuming / mopping, stocking supplies, dusting, etc.
  • Properly follow processes for using VRA apps and software for reporting and tracking time
  • Effectively communicating with team members and supervisor to complete work


Safety

  • Follow safety procedures and precautions performing tasks and using equipment / supplies
  • Participate in trainingon potential exposure to blood, body fluids, or hazardous chemicals

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have your own vehicle and state minimum insurance coverage
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Basic proficiency with phone applications
  • Cleaning experience preferred especially in vacation homes
  • Professionally and clearly communicate through reports and face-to-face
  • Abilityto perform manual labor for long periods andmove to / from and throughout homes
  • To push, pull, move, and/or lift up to 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 10 feet
