We’re seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team located in historic Rock Springs, Arizona—a destination that has welcomed travelers since the 1800s. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in continuing this legacy—offering guests not just a place to park, but a place to pause, connect, and experience the charm and comfort that have made Rock Springs famous—from its historic roots to its legendary pies. You will be part of a dedicated housekeeping team, maintaining glamping units, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring every guest at our RV resort enjoys a clean, welcoming, and memorable stay.

Position Summary: The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision and direction of all aspects of the housekeeping department, including ensuring the high standards of cleanliness for vacation rentals and public areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

·        Prepares daily guestroom assignment for room attendants and arranges daily departure reports.

·        Assists all housekeeping departments in securing all supplies and tools necessary for the completion of their jobs and orders supplies as necessary.

·        Places orders for cleaning materials as needed; maintains budget guidelines and in the scheduling of housekeeping staff, ensuring staff work schedules stay within budgeted labor guidelines and maximum productivity is met, while maintaining service standards and quality.

·        Performs inventory of all guest and linen supplies and maintains proper inventory levels.

·        Prioritizes and delegates resort janitorial and vacation rental cleaning needs. Provides daily cleaning assignments to housekeeping.

·        Completes inspection of vacation rentals and walk-throughs of public areas to ensure standards are being met.

·        Greets all guests or ensures they are greeted upon arrival.

·        Carries out investigation of complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action. Resolve guest complaints promptly.

·        Schedules housekeeping staff, ensuring staff work schedules stay within budgeted labor guidelines and maximum productivity is met, while maintaining service standards and quality. Assist in the hiring, training, and supervision of staff.

·        Maintains effective communication between front desk and housekeeping for guest satisfaction. Ensures a high standard of excellence throughout the Resort and maintains a good working relationship with all departments.

·        Conducts safety meetings and training and maintains MSDS binders.

·        Fulfills opening and closing duties and any housekeeping department duties as needed.

·        Reports all potential safety hazards to a manager immediately and writes up work orders as needed. Maintains safety awareness throughout housekeeping department.

·        Logs lost and found items with the Guest Services Supervisor and answer inquiries to maintain controls and ensure guest satisfaction.

·        Maintains a high standard of excellence throughout the Resort as well as the appearance of exterior and interior of building.

·        Complies with company policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local agencies.

·        Maintains safety awareness throughout housekeeping department.

·        Responds to resort needs during non-business hours and works a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

·        Performs all other duties as assigned.
