Start Date: June 1, 2026
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM โ 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week, No weekends or federal holidays
How many shifts needed per month: Approximately 20โ22 weekday shifts per provider (based on VA business days)
License: Current, full, and unrestricted MD/DO license in any U.S. state, territory, or DC. No history of suspension, restriction, or revocation
Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABFM or ABIM), BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), DEA registration, NPI
Experience needed: Minimum 2โ3 years of recent clinical experience in Primary Care (VA experience preferred)
Special Skills needed:
- Proficiency in outpatient primary care management
- Ability to manage acute, chronic, and preventive care
- Strong documentation skills in electronic health records (VA CPRS)
- Ability to communicate effectively with veterans and interdisciplinary teams
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Familiarity with VA clinical standards, quality measures, and patient safety practices
Credentialing / Onboarding time: 6 weeks to 8 weeks
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite primary care services to VA patients
- Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and follow-up care
- Manage and prescribe medications within scope of practice
- Order and review diagnostic tests and document care in the VA EHR
- Communicate test results and care plans to patients
- Participate in required meetings, quality, and patient safety activities
- Comply with VA clinical, documentation, and privacy standards
