About the Phoenix VA Radiology Service: Work alongside a dynamic team of 24 radiologists covering nine specialized divisions. At the Phoenix VA Health Care System, youโ€™ll collaborate with multidisciplinary experts providing comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and emergency radiology services to Veterans across central Arizona. With over 130 employees, the Radiology Service is among the largest clinical departments in the hospital.

Your Role: We seek a Board-Certified Musculoskeletal Radiologist (ABR-certified or ABR-eligible), ideally with fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging. New fellows and 2026 graduates are encouraged to apply! This is a hybrid position, with approximately 60% musculoskeletal radiology and 40% general radiology (no mammography required).

Youโ€™ll perform joint injections, arthrograms, and aspirations, and bring clinical expertise to a patient-centered environment. As part of our educational mission, youโ€™ll mentor radiology residents, medical trainees, and present at conferences including didactics, tumor boards, and peer learning. Research opportunities are available (but optional).

Work Schedule: Mon โ€“ Fri, 8:00 am โ€“ 4:30 pm

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical/osteopathic school
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license from any US state/territory
  • US Citizenship (per VA policy; exceptions considered)
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for EDRP
