Are you a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist specializing in Neuroradiology or Nuclear Medicine Radiology? The Phoenix VA Radiology Service wants YOU to join our team!

The Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) Medical Center is a thriving hub for Radiology services in central Arizona. Our Radiology Service is among the largest clinical departments, with over 130 dedicated employees spread across 9 specialized divisions. These include:

  • Vascular and Interventional Radiology Services

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: Up to $400,000 annually
  • Annual Performance Bonus & Regular Salary Increases
  • Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP): Up to $200,000 in student loan repayment*
  • Sign-in Bonus: Up to 25% of your annual salary
  • Paid-Time Off: 50 - 55 days of annual PTO (26 days of annual leave, 13 sick days, 11 paid federal holidays, and up to 5 days for CME)
  • Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401k with up to 5% contribution by VA
  • Insurance: Federal health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term care insurance (carry into retirement)
  • CME: Possible $1,000/year reimbursement
  • Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided
  • Flexible Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and minimal restrictions on moonlighting

Employment Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine
  • Unrestricted License: One full and unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory
  • U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may be considered when qualified citizens are not available, per VA policy
