The Snowflake Public Sector team is growing! We're currently looking for a high-achieving Acquisitions Account Executive who possesses in-depth knowledge of the Federal Civilian market, ideally with experience calling on the US Department of Health and Human Services
In this role, you'll leverage your prospecting skills to strategically target and acquire new customers. You'll own the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and building relationships to closing deals that meet both customer needs and company objectives.
This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on high-visibility, high-impact projects. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be a self-starter who takes initiative, embraces accountability, and remains open to new ideas and perspectives. Our team is highly collaborative, curious, and always striving to innovate and exceed customer expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the assigned Federal Civilian sales territory, leveraging domain expertise to drive growth and adoption.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Deliver accurate and timely sales activity reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Consistently exceed sales targets within the Federal Civilian market.
  • Leverage domain expertise to identify and address unique challenges within the Federal Civilian landscape, tailoring solutions for maximum impact.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5-10 years of experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in both new customer acquisition and expanding existing accounts within the Federal Civilian market. Experience with complex fed environments, gov/contractor, multiple divisions & economic buyers.

  • History of ability to build and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve strategic and financial targets in the Federal Civilian sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a culture of open communication and trust.
  • Ability to set ambitious goals and develop innovative strategies to achieve them within the Federal Civilian landscape.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal cross-functional partners and external stakeholders, including Federal Civilian agencies and organizations.
  • In Snowflake McLean, VA office approximately two days per week
