The Sr. UX Designer is responsible for contributing to user experience design activities across the product portfolio. This role will support user research efforts, produce UX/UI design deliverables, and participate in the development and maintenance of UX standards and the design system. This position will collaborate with product management, engineering, stakeholders, and end users to create usercentered solutions that align with the needs of Clinicians, Clients, and Associates. The Sr. UX Designer may serve as a subject matter expert.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

UX/UI Design - 45%

  • Design end-to-end user experiences for web and mobile applications, from concept through implementation
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design solutions
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements and ensure feasibility
  • Iterate designs based on user feedback, analytics, and business goals

User Research & Insights - 25%

  • Participate in the planning and completion of user research using various methodologies including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and analytics analysis
  • Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate on the creation of user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts to inform design decisions
  • Champion a user-centered design approach across the organization

Validation & Confirmation - 20%

  • Lead the creation and documentation of a comprehensive design system including UI components, patterns, and guidelines
  • Establish design standards, accessibility guidelines, and best practices
  • Work with engineering to ensure design system adoption and maintain component libraries
  • Evolve the design system based on product needs and emerging patterns

Leadership & Collaboration - 10%

  • Present design work and research findings to stakeholders at all levels
  • Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of design excellenceAdvocate for user needs and design quality throughout the product development process

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE)

  • May serve as a subject matter expert

  • Proven experience participating in user research and translating insights into design
  • Expertise in design tools (Figma preferred)
