Our Mission
Our mission is to SAVE AND IMPROVE LIVES BY EMPOWERING HEALTHCARE CONSUMERS. Come be part of remarkable.
Overview
Sr. UX Designer - Marketplace Experience
We're looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our Experience Design team and help build and expand our Marketplace experience. This role focuses on creating intuitive, trustworthy, and engaging commerce experiences that help members discover, evaluate, purchase, and manage healthcare products and services. The ideal candidate combines strong human-centered design skills with experience designing marketplace or e-commerce products and is comfortable using research, analytics, and AI-assisted tools to improve customer outcomes.
Success in this role is measured by improving customer understanding, trust, engagement, conversion, and long-term business outcomes through data-informed, human-centered design.
What you'll be doing
  • Design end-to-end marketplace and commerce experiences across mobile and web, including product discovery, search, comparison, checkout, onboarding, and post-purchase journeys.
  • Translate business strategy into intuitive interaction models, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, Analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences that drive both member value and business outcomes.
  • Use customer research, analytics, and experimentation to identify friction and improve acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Design scalable UX patterns that support merchandising, personalization, product recommendations, promotions, partner offerings, and lifecycle experiences.
  • Design experiences that simplify complex healthcare and financial decisions while building trust, transparency, and confidence throughout the customer journey.
  • Advocate for accessibility, usability, and experience quality from discovery through implementation.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, documentation, and design exploration while maintaining a human-centered approach.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation and continuously improve experiences using customer feedback and product analytics.

What you will need to be successful
  • 6 to 8+ years of proven experience designing customer-facing digital products, collaborating cross-functionally with product managers and engineers to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Strong foundation in human-centered design with experience creating intuitive mobile-first applications.
  • Experience designing marketplace, e-commerce, telehealth, affiliate marketing, or other consumer-facing digital experiences is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex product requirements into clear interaction models, user flows, and scalable UI solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with high standards for visual design, interaction quality, and consistency across products.
  • Skilled in user research and insight synthesis, leveraging both traditional methods and AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis and inform design decisions.
  • Experience using product analytics, customer insights, and experimentation to optimize user journeys and improve business outcomes.
  • Clear communicator who can present design rationale and user insights effectively to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Accessibility advocate with experience designing inclusive products that align with WCAG standards.
  • Facilitator of collaborative workshops and discovery sessions that drive alignment and innovation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, move quickly, and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced product environments.
  • Curious about emerging technologies and how AI is transforming product design, actively incorporating new tools and approaches into the design process.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have helped build and scale marketplace, commerce, telehealth, or partner ecosystems where design decisions directly influenced customer engagement, conversion, and business growth.
