Job description

Javvy is on a mission to set a new standard for café favorites with better-for-you beverages that are craveable, convenient, and without compromise. Positioned at the intersection of café culture, convenience, and functional nutrition, we're reimagining the drinks people buy every day - proving you don't have to compromise between great taste and quality ingredients. What began as a cult-favorite DTC brand has rapidly scaled into an omnichannel business, now expanding into major retail while building a loyal community around better-for-you café favorites.
The Opportunity:
At Javvy, our website is one of our biggest growth engines. We're looking for a UI/UX Designer who combines exceptional design craft with deep Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) expertise to create ecommerce experiences that are as effective as they are beautiful.
You'll join our growing Design team, partnering closely with Growth Marketing, Brand, Development, and fellow designers to create, test, and optimize landing pages, product pages, and customer journeys that directly impact conversion, average order value, and revenue.
This role is ideal for someone who loves digging into user behavior, testing hypotheses, and using data to make great design even better. You believe every design decision should have a measurable business impact.
What You'll Own:
  • Design and optimize high-performing ecommerce experiences, including landing pages, product pages, collection pages, bundles, quizzes, promotional campaigns, and seasonal launches.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing to translate CRO strategies into intuitive, high-converting user experiences.
  • Analyze user behavior using heatmaps, session recordings, analytics, and A/B test results to identify friction and improve performance.
  • Design with experimentation in mind, creating experiences that can be continuously tested and optimized.
  • Improve key customer journeys across navigation, PDPs, cart, checkout, upsells, and post-purchase experiences.
  • Create clean, premium interfaces with exceptional typography, spacing, hierarchy, and mobile-first usability.
  • Contribute to and evolve our shared design system, creating reusable components that enable faster execution across campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and fellow designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and a seamless customer experience.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on performance data, customer feedback, and business goals.
You're a Fit If...
  • You have exceptional design taste. Your portfolio demonstrates a strong eye for typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, and modern ecommerce design.
  • You have deep experience designing ecommerce experiences, including landing pages, product pages, collections, promotional campaigns, and customer journeys that drive measurable business results.
  • You think like a CRO practitioner, not just a designer. You're comfortable using A/B testing, heatmaps, session recordings, analytics, and user behavior insights to continuously improve conversion.
  • Figma is your primary design tool. You're highly proficient in creating production-ready designs, prototypes, scalable design systems, and reusable components.
  • You design with outcomes in mind. Every design decision is intentional and balances aesthetics with usability, clarity, engagement, and conversion.
  • You have strong UI/UX fundamentals, including visual hierarchy, layout, accessibility, interaction design, and mobile-first thinking.
  • You have a portfolio that clearly showcases ecommerce work. Bonus points if it includes before-and-after redesigns, measurable performance improvements, or case studies explaining your design process.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced startup. You're comfortable moving quickly, owning your work, collaborating across teams, and iterating based on feedback and performance.
Bonus Points If You Have Experience With
  • Shopify, Webflow, or headless ecommerce platforms.
  • Performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
  • UX writing or partnering closely with copywriters.
  • CPG, food & beverage, or other DTC consumer brands.
Why This Role Rocks:
  • Competitive Salary
  • 100% Company-Paid Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance for employees
(Family coverage available at employee cost)
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan
  • Parental Leave
  • Free Access to Javvy Products
  • Career Growth Opportunities
  • Collaborative, Fast-Paced Start-Up Environment

Javvy is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All employment decisions are made based on qualifications, merit, business needs, and applicable laws.
This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, or qualifications and may be modified as business needs evolve.
