Job description

Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in being part of a mission that matters? Daniels Health is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team and help support your assigned hospital with critical medical waste services.
This is not a desk job-you'll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day.
UVA Health: 1215 Lee Street Charlottesville, VA
What will your job involve?
  • Working directly with UVA hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
  • Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas-this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
  • Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
  • Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
  • Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
  • Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
  • Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.

  • A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail-especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
  • Reliable personal transportation.
