Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead team performance, communication, and stakeholder relationships with a strong safety and ethics focus
  • Support project execution, customer service, and department financial/operational targets
  • Partner with Brooks leaders on strategy, collaboration, professional development, and engineering customer-base growth

  • Software/equipment fluency (e.g., AutoCAD, Trimble Earthworks/Siteworks, GPS/UTS, machine control)
  • Strong organization, analytical rigor, and communication; valid driver's license and jobsite travel
How Your Days Flow

Your day typically starts at the Brooks Office on Ardmore Avenue, prioritizing active needs across survey and design, then aligning crews and office staff on deliverables and decision points. You'll split time between reviewing plans, field notes, and standards, and getting onsite when conditions warrant-confirming assumptions, clearing roadblocks, and keeping communication crisp. Expect frequent touchpoints with internal leaders and customers to maintain trust, respond quickly, and keep work moving. You'll also carve out time to refine processes, coach emerging leaders, and track performance so the department stays predictable, compliant, and ready for the next challenge.
