Job description

Corporate Nurse Leader
Make an impact across multiple communities by supporting excellence in clinical care and leadership development.
Position Summary
The Corporate Nurse Leader partners with the Regional Nurse Consultant to guide and strengthen nursing operations across multiple facilities. This role plays a key part in supporting care management, utilization management, clinical quality, and population health initiatives.
You'll help unify and elevate nursing teams to deliver streamlined, effective, and person-centered care. Working closely with regional and facility leaders, this position provides oversight and mentorship in patient care management, clinical quality, training, and regulatory compliance. The Corporate Nurse Leader serves as a trusted resource and role model for Directors of Nursing and nursing leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
(As assigned by the Regional Nurse Consultant)
Clinical Leadership & Quality
  • Ensure nursing teams operate within regulatory standards and best practices through quality assurance, compliance oversight, and training.
  • Provide onboarding and ongoing clinical system training for new and current employees.
  • Serve as an interim Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager when needed.
  • Support strategy development, process implementation, and outcome measurement across facilities.
  • Act as a super-user and trainer for clinical software systems.
  • Collaborate with DONs and Nurse Managers on quality metrics and corrective action plans.
  • Lead and support training for new nursing leadership roles.
  • Identify, track, and address quality-of-care concerns in partnership with facility leadership.
Operational Excellence
  • Promote consistent, efficient workflows across facilities.
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve communication and coordination.
  • Participate actively in IDT, clinical operations, and other leadership meetings.
  • Work with staff to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and new initiatives.
Compliance & Culture
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture rooted in service excellence.
  • Participate in continuing education and in-services as directed by the VP of Clinical Services.
  • Assist with inspections and audits as assigned by the Regional Nurse Consultant.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and respect for the Residents' Bill of Rights.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a Minnesota skilled nursing facility.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams across multiple functions.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Minnesota Department of Health regulations.
