Job description

The Analyst I supports the Utility Rate and Property Operations teams by processing billing-related tickets, maintaining accurate property information, assisting with quality assurance, and partnering with Account Managers, offshore teams, utility providers, and other internal stakeholders. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, organization, and a commitment to meeting service-level deadlines.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process prebill tickets by the established prebill deadline or when otherwise appropriate.
  • Process profile changes before the prebill deadline.
  • Process prebill responses by the billing deadline.
  • Track open tickets daily and take appropriate action, including follow-up, escalation, completion, or closure.
  • Process resident refund requests accurately and timely.
  • Assist with training offshore team members on ticket types, including Debit/Credit Adjustments, Report Corrections, and Daily Move-Outs.
  • Assist with auditing 100% of tickets completed by the offshore team and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to resolve questions and support property needs.
  • Assist Property Operations team members as needed.
Utility Rate Team Property Maintenance
  • Post figures to the billing engine before the prebill deadline.
  • Verify that all utility bills are present.
  • Identify and research potential billing or property issues.
  • Contact utility providers as needed.
  • Create and send utility routings, FYIs, and profile changes to Account Managers by the applicable service-level agreement deadline.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Accurate and efficient data-entry skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Ability to research, analyze, and resolve problems.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with internal departments, offshore teams, Account Managers, and external utility providers.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Strong basic math skills.
