A positive, proactive attitude and professional behavior are essential, as this role interacts with stakeholders at all levels in a fast-paced and continuously evolving project environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead electrical takeoffs and material quantity reviews to support accurate procurement, material forecasting, and cost control.
* Review, analyze, coordinate, and distribute drawing revisions throughout each stage of drawing-set development.
* Maintain drawing logs, revision histories, and field-documentation processes to ensure teams are working from current, approved information.
* Develop and coordinate equipment, DC, and AC signage and labeling packages for assigned project sites.
* Lead the submittal process, including preparation, tracking, review coordination, follow-up, reconciliation, and closeout of outstanding submittals.
* Maintain and update electrical logs based on purchase order issuance, vendor commitments, and project requirements.
* Manage and track project equipment, including delivery status, storage requirements, equipment documentation, and field readiness.
* Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and logistics partners to schedule trucking, deliveries, and material movement to project sites.
* Process vendor invoices through CMiC and internal systems; verify supporting documentation, purchase order alignment, quantities, and receipt status.
* Record and reconcile field deliveries in CMiC, including discrepancies, damaged materials, shortages, and required follow-up actions.
* Identify potential change-order conditions; compile supporting documentation, pricing inputs, schedules, and correspondence for Project Manager review.
* Support contract administration by maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, subcontracts, commitments, change events, and project correspondence.
* Upload and maintain field-required documents in PlanGrid, ensuring the field team has timely access to approved drawings, specifications, submittals, and other project records.
* Assist in project schedule management by monitoring procurement milestones, equipment lead times, delivery dates, and electrical work sequencing.
* Coordinate with field supervision to identify electrical installation constraints, material needs, documentation gaps, and upcoming work requirements.
* Participate in project meetings with internal teams, owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors as needed.
* Assist with project reporting, including procurement status, submittal status, equipment tracking, cost exposure, and change-order logs.
* Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to Project Engineers and other junior team members.
* Promote Moss's safety, quality, and operational excellence standards across all project activities.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

* Minimum of 4-7 years of progressively responsible experience in construction project engineering, electrical contracting, solar EPC, or utility-scale renewable energy projects preferred.
* Experience supporting utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, or large electrical infrastructure projects strongly preferred.
