Job Description: CPH is looking for well-qualified professional in our Miami, Florida office for the following position:
Utilities Project Engineer -E.I. โ€“ with 3-5 yearsโ€™ Utilities Design experience in Florida. Must have passed the FE exam and have obtained an Engineer Intern(E.I) /Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) Certification.
This position provides an opportunity for a skilled, self-motivated, and detail-oriented professional to join an established, growing Engineering Design Firm. CPH, Inc. is a multi-disciplined firm that provides its clients complete services from project inception through construction. Our in-house professionals include Engineers, Architects, Landscape Architects, Planners, Surveyors, Biologists and Construction Management personnel. Our teams develop innovative solutions for complex design challenges and are dedicated to providing clients with the highest quality service. Requirements:
Ideal candidate will have a B.S. Degree in Civil/Environmental engineering with a minimum of 3 yearsโ€™ experience in design and permitting of utility projects, water and wastewater treatment facilities, etc. Modeling experience with WaterCAD and SewerCAD preferred.
Ideal candidate must have passed the FE exam and have obtained an Engineer Intern(E.I) /Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) Certification.
Ideal candidate must be fundamentally sound, strong in design and value engineering, have strong analytical problem solving skills, experienced in dealing with regulatory agencies, strong management, organization and communication skills.
Ideal candidate must enjoy working with people, be proactive, and be a motivator.
Strong believer of a quality product, true understanding of schedule and budget, keeping clients informed and follow up to see a project to completion.
Ability to manage multiple projects and handle projects from inception to completion.
Ability to deal with clients directly and potentially market new clients.
Willing to work as a team and have strong organization and communication skills.
