Nashville area public utility organization, funded by around twenty thousand rate payers needs a Customer Service Representative. This job is mainly about customer service, cash accounting, and billing.
I am advertising in your area in order to find people interested in relocating to Nashville. This job is in the western part of Nashville.
This job has excellent pay and benefits, including full family coverage with NO PREMIUMS
This is an on-site job with 8 am until 5 pm working hours. Relocation assistance may be available. This job is not remote and not a hybrid opportunity. This is a full time, Monday to Friday position.
  • Handle phone calls for utility services, answering questions and complaints.

  • Open new accounts, handle customer billing, payment processing and debt collection.

  • Must be good in math and be able to balance cash receipts and reconcile account discrepancies.

  • Initiate service orders for repairs of different kinds.

  • Keep records about complaints and service calls.

  • Communicate effectively with rate payers, explaining schedules, rates, and fees.

REQUIREMENTS
  • The client prefers people with public utility background because billing and customer service are strictly regulated in this environment.

  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience in billing, cash accounting, and customer service required, at a utility company.
