Cedar Mountain Commons is a not-for-profit independent and assisted living retirement community, where residents are able to maintain their independence while living in the safety and comfort of a service-rich environment. We are a compassionate, highly trained and certified staff which aims to provide residents with the care they need at the standards they expect.
The Utility Aide performs a variety of tasks related to the support of the operations of a professional kitchen. These tasks include: tray assembly, tray and cart delivery, mechanical and/or hand washing of all food service plate ware, utensils, equipment and pots/pans. The Utility Associate is responsible for maintaining quality, cleanliness and ongoing sanitation of all dish room and food service production areas. Duties include but are not limited to: retrieval of carts with soiled trays, cleaning of all plate ware, utensils, equipment, floors and pots/pans, using the pot and pan sink and dishwasher, mopping and sanitizing all food prep floor areas, cleaning checklists, temperature logs, and maintenance reports.
