Position Summary
The Dishwasher / Kitchen Utility Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen and dining areas while supporting the overall success of the Dining Services team.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized while helping maintain a safe, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, team-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
  • Properly clean, sanitize, and store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and dishwashing areas
  • Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks and sanitation procedures
  • Follow food safety, infection control, and sanitation guidelines
  • Remove trash and maintain clean workspaces
  • Assist culinary team members as needed during meal service
  • Support smooth kitchen operations through teamwork and efficiency
  • Help maintain a safe and organized kitchen environment

Qualifications
  • Previous dishwasher, kitchen utility, restaurant, hospitality, or senior living experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
