Job Summary:

The Project Manager will perform routine project management tracking, reporting, budgeting, accruing, and invoicing tasks under the supervision of Senior Management.

This position is in Archdale, NC and will have to travel for field visits as well customer meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversees various aspects of workflow, staffing, budget allocation, and scheduling of the assigned project.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes equipment, systems, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
  • Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors.
  • Collaborates with design group to change plans if problems arise.
  • Collaborates with field staff to create budget and track materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
  • Collaborates with the operations department to identify and troubleshoot problems.
  • Compares the actual cost to project estimates for each phase of the project.
  • Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans and schedule.
  • Recommends and/or analyzes materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.
  • Prepares periodic progress and cost reports for leadership.
  • Oversees field reporting and timesheet approval
  • Notifies, tracks, creates, submits and follows up with Scope Changes to the Customer.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or other related field, with at least three years of management experience leading multidisciplinary design teams preferred.
