POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. The Project Managers will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
• Direct and contribute to overall health & execution of a project scope: deliverables, timeline and budget;
• Customer interface throughout execution of project; Responsible for technical and financial aspects of projects;
• Regularly reports projects and status to project stakeholders;
• Leading/facilitating/conducting team meetings for Project execution;
• Analyze financial health of project; medium to high complexity project;
• Advanced product knowledge and application;
• Collaborate in resource selection; facilitate technical review of systems;
• Identify and develop risk and mitigation plans on projects;
• Identify change opportunities and negotiate change orders;
• Understand execution strategy and planning; contract interpretation

• Drive schedule attainment;
• Meet project/customer requirements;
• Margin attainment; customer satisfaction;
• Identify continuous improvement activities;
• Ensure contractual obligations are met
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required: FORMAL EDUCATION:
  • PMP Certification or previous work experience;
  • BA/BS degree - technical

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
  • 5-10 years experience in Project Management, planning or manufacturing
  • Identify and solve problems; Candid and timely communication;
  • take initiative; detail oriented; advance understanding of ERP system;
  • Advanced understanding of MS Office (project, word, excel);
  • forward thinking;
  • business acumen;
  • excellent organizational skills;
  • provide executive level summaries using sound judgement on when escalation should happen;
  • strong communication skills oral and written;
  • drive project financial performance(forecasting, revenue, margin)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
  • Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
  • Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
  • Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.
  • May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
  • May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
  • Work surfaces may include concrete.
  • Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
  • Some travel (up to 10%) to other locations, customer job sites, meetings and/or seminars is required.
