What is a utilities associate?

Utilities Associates are entry-level professionals who support utility operations such as electricity, water, gas, or telecommunications. They typically assist with maintaining, inspecting, and repairing utility infrastructure, as well as performing administrative or customer service tasks. These associates work under the supervision of senior technicians or managers to ensure the reliable and safe delivery of utility services. The role may involve both fieldwork and office responsibilities, depending on the employer and specific utility sector.
