Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Outreach and Recruitment for the UT Dallas Latin America Office will act as an educational consultant through a contract with Safeguard Global to serve as UT Dallas's representative in the Latin America region. The Senior Manager will assist in establishing a physical presence of UT Dallas in Latin America with and help engage with prospective quality students from the area, alums, and potential institutional partners. The Latin America Office Senior Manager will travel to regional institutions and education fairs to engage with students and introduce the different study options at UT Dallas. In addition, the Senior Manager will engage with the region's large alum base and current and potential institutional partners, further expanding our reach and connections.
This full-time position will be based in Mexico City, Mexico, and includes travel to international sites where UT Dallas programs take place and is involved in recruiting international students. It also includes office and project management, periodic facilitation of seminars and workshops, and presenting at conferences and programs.
Minimum Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Six (6) years of related recruitment and outreach experience.
  • One (1) year of office management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, plus 4 years of academic and administrative experience in recruitment and admissions in higher education.
  • Experience studying, living, and/or working internationally.
  • Experience in an outreach and recruitment role, ability to demonstrate judgment, and be comfortable in a public-facing role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with office and project management.
  • Contract management experience.
  • Responsible, self-disciplined, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and social media platforms. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, access, and inclusion.
  • Knowledge of UT Dallas through previous direct experience (as a student, alums, faculty, or UT Dallas community member).
  • Ability to represent UT Dallas through Safeguard Global in a professional and ethical manner.

Other Qualifications
To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Outreach and Recruitment
  • Reach out to audiences to introduce UT Dallas and connect with prospective students and partner institutions.
  • Coordinate the activities of Recruitment, Admissions, and Preparation of students in the region to attend UT Dallas.
  • Research and initiate contact with potential feeder schools and universities.
  • Seek out and connect with partner campus student groups, campus organizations, and community organizations.

Promotion
  • Attend in-person and virtual recruiting events, including university study abroad fairs, college fairs for high school students, and other relevant industry fairs and conferences.
  • Track, monitor, and support the production and distribution of outreach materials and information. Ensure correct brand usage and advanced approval of all materials

Serve as Point of Contact
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Latin America region with UT Dallas alums and organize events that bring prospective students in front of volunteering alums.
  • Develop relationships with prospective students and families, faculty and campus organizations, and alums networks.
  • Maintain contact with current and prospective partner schools and institutions.

Institutional Support
  • Research, propose, and establish UT-Dallas physical office space to be overseen by the Manager.
  • Assist UT-Dallas faculty and administration during post-admission visits.
  • Assist with regular communications to new and existing partners and prospective student audiences.
  • Works on social media and digital outreach for the program.
  • Work with UT Dallas lead-management system Salesforce to maintain lead flow, analyze communication data, and help strategize outreach efforts based on system knowledge.
  • Visit UTD at least once a year to engage with stakeholders and learn about UTD's culture and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
