Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking IT Messaging Engineer to join their team. This is a hybrid role in Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities:
* Support and manage Microsoft 365 infrastructure for the client's Remote Administration program, including multi-tenant environments and IT operations support
* Part of the Service Technology Trading Operations unit, supporting Remote Administration firms leveraging the client's managed IT services
* Managing and optimizing Microsoft 365 infrastructure across a Multi-Tenant Organization (MTO), including identity synchronization, cross-tenant collaboration, endpoint provisioning, and platform enhancements
* Administer and optimize our Multi-Tenant Organization (MTO), including cross-tenant collaboration, identity synchronization, and governance across tenants
* Manage endpoint provisioning and lifecycle in a Microsoft 365-native environment using Windows Autopilot, Intune, and Entra ID
* Perform advanced troubleshooting of the Microsoft platform using all available tools, including PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Purview, and the admin centers
* Collaborate with the IT Operations team to provide technical expertise and resourcing for project initiatives
* Troubleshoot issues with user access to cloud services and validate fixes end-to-end before closing
* Enhance platform features following standard change management processes with clear, proactive communication
* Maintain a knowledgebase for systems and processes owned by the role
Provide operational and escalated support as a Global Administrator for the Microsoft 365 platform, including:
* Exchange Online
* Entra ID
* Defender
* Purview
* Intune
* Microsoft Teams
* OneDrive for Business
* SharePoint Online
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of overall Information Technology experience
* 3+ years of Microsoft 365 tenant administration experience with Global Administrator scope
* Hands-on across Exchange Online, Entra ID, Defender, Purview, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune
* Demonstrated experience managing multiple Microsoft 365 tenants - MSP, multi-firm, or Multi-Tenant Organization (MTO) environments

* Hands-on experience as a Microsoft 365 global administrator configuring and managing a Microsoft 365-native environment (Entra-joined endpoints, Intune MDM, and Windows Autopilot provisioning)
* Experience with a Microsoft 365 Multi-Tenant Organization (MTO) or cross-tenant access / B2B sync at scale
* Experience managing a -segmented- tenant using administrative units, scope tags, address book policies, and security groups to isolate multiple business units or customers within a single tenant
* Strong understanding of messaging and mail flow, including gateway integrations such as Proofpoint
* Strong ownership mindset - takes assigned work to completion and proactively communicates blockers or timeline adjustments
* Ability to work independently but also collaborate when needed
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
