SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW

Completes documentation and ensures accuracy for USPS trips.  Coordinates all trailer moves with switch driver between the docks and yard.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Receives, prepares, and inspects for accuracy required paperwork for all USPS trips.
  • Records all moves called out from dock employees and switcher driver.
  • Dispatches all moves that need to be made to switch driver.
  • Monitors emails from USPS.
  • Organizes and files all paperwork.
  • Put all BOL’s in the trailer
  • Monitor loaders and unloaders
  • Print all reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS (List specific skills required but not defined in Dimensions)

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to organize and complete all necessary paperwork
