Job description

Position Summary:

This position performs a variety of duties which supports the workload in Inbound Mail Services to ensure that all mail is sorted, opened and prepped, scanned and processed on a day-to-day basis. This position emphasizes accuracy and timely performance of job duties, as well as a strong emphasis on attention to detail.

Primary Job Duties:

• Operates & performs daily maintenance on Agissar Mail opening equipment, IBML high speed document scanner and Omation letter opener.

• Performs Executive Sort of all USPS mail received daily. Ability to appropriately direct internal sorting of all mail according to AKC PO Boxes and directory of AKC staff.

• Maintains accurate counts of mail received daily and completes designated paperwork collected monthly by management.

• Utilizes mail tracking software to ensure that all certified mail is properly recorded and/or delivered.

• Reviews all work delivered by internal AKC staff to ensure accuracy of prepping and determines appropriate routing.

• Collects work to be scanned by extracting contents and organizing them by batch types designating for scanning.

• Adheres to all production standards and guidelines which have been established by Inbound Mail management.

• Scans all prepared work on IBML scanner. Assemble and label batches for filing.

• Fee instruments are separated after scanning; labeled and batched according to batch

• Prepares daily bank deposit for organization and all reports associated with bank deposit. Locates deposit errors and acts on them accordingly.

• Performs corrections to scanned images in Batch Fix and researches additional documents in the Registration Console.

• Provides ongoing support to fulfillment and stockroom operations by assisting with projects, managing inventory control processes, performing quality assurance tasks, and supporting other operational initiatives as needed.
