Position Summary 
The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a full-time, 12-month, Open Rank faculty member to provide gastroenterology services at the Morsani Center and Tampa General Hospital. This position includes attending staff privileges at Tampa General Hospital and affiliated hospitals. 

Responsibilities
 
Clinical Duties: 
  • Provide general GI ambulatory care, inpatient call and coverage, and endoscopy services.
    • Participate in clinical teaching for medical students, residents, and fellows in outpatient, endoscopy, and hospital ward settings.
Administrative Duties: 
  • Review patient charts, respond to phone calls and MyChart messages, and complete clinical documentation.
Academic Duties: 
  • Engage in teaching, research, service, and academic advising.
    • Represent the university, college, or department as needed.
Qualifications 
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Doctoral/Medical degree from an accredited institution.
    • Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology.
    • Demonstrated achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. 
    • Eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
