About the Role
We're looking for a Sr. Strategic Operations Associate to help us scale Uber for Business, one of the most exciting and fastest growing business units at Uber!
As part of one of Uber's fastest-growing business units, Uber for Business (U4B), you will sit at the center of our growth bets portfolio that unlock new use cases and supercharge revenue growth.
You will have end-to-end ownership - defining strategy, building the go-to-market motion, and partnering cross-functionally to develop the product, ops, and marketing infrastructure required to scale.
This is a hybrid role - the team collaborates in-person out of our incredible office in New York City or San Francisco 3 days/week. We encourage our employees to work from our office on additional days if they desire to do so.
About the Team
Uber for Business brings the power of Uber to organizations, their employees and customers. While we already serve 170k global organizations, including ~70% of the Fortune 500, we are continuing to invest to win the business segment, with ambitious plans to grow our Gross Bookings.
Our core offerings include rides, meals and delivery solutions. Whether we're feeding employees working in a hybrid office environment or facilitating ground transportation when employees travel for business, there are numerous opportunities to help our clients support their employees, customers and overall business objectives.
What You'll Do
  • End-to-end Ownership: Own one focused area end-to-end, including defining strategy, setting priorities, and driving execution to scale the business
  • Go-To-Market Strategy: Develop and execute GTM strategies, including defining target segments, sales motions, and partnering with Marketing on positioning and collateral.
  • Product & Tech Build: Partner with Product and Product Ops to build the product roadmap and launch new products, share insights on customer needs based on research and client feedback, design and operationalize new corporate solutions, e.g., business-specific ride types, and support (or in some cases, lead) new product feature and/or geography launches
  • Program Execution: Lead cross-functional initiatives and launches across Product, Sales, and Marketing, ensuring strong execution and alignment.
  • Data & Insights: Use your analytical skills to drive strategy and business insights by building and maintain reporting to track progress across a variety of top-line and operational metrics. You will also communicate findings and insights to diverse audiences including leadership in Monthly Business Reviews or other forums

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience in project/program management, operations, analytics, or a related field.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficiency as a SQL user (or similar query language) with a track record of using data to drive business decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation skills and experience leading meetings with business leaders.
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong business acumen, with experience evaluating a line of business and understanding how to drive growth
  • Strong organization and project management skills, including ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects and processes simultaneously
  • Comfort addressing ambiguity, for example, shifting priorities or unfamiliar problems
  • B2B Experience is an asset, but not required

Responsibilities
