Job description

At Podium, we bring AI Employees to local businesses that turn every conversation into revenue. Trusted by 60,000+ businesses across Auto, Home Services, and Aesthetics, Podium captures and converts leads 24/7, driving both new business and repeat customers.
In under 24 months, we crossed $100M in AI Agent ARR, scaling 300% year-over-year. During this time, we've deployed 10,000 AI employees to empower real business outcomes for our customers. Podium is building what we believe will be the most impactful AI employee ecosystem for local business.
Podium has been recognized as the Best AI Implementation by Inc. Magazine, highlighted by OpenAI for building revenue-driving AI Agents, and awarded the #1 AI Agent for Business Operations by G2.
Our growth is fueled by hiring exceptional people, holding them to high standards, and creating opportunities for them to grow and make an impact. Our operating principles guide daily behavior and ensure we hire people who will thrive at Podium. If you're hungry for growth, aligned to our operating principles, and ready to get to work, you won't find a better place to learn and accelerate your career.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Podium is hiring a Founder's Associate to sit in the Office of the CEO and build Eric's external presence from the ground up. This is not a content writing job. It's one of the most unique early-career opportunities in tech right now. In this role, you'll get a front-row seat to how one of the fastest-growing AI companies in the country operates, sitting in on product reviews, customer calls, and leadership meetings, and turning what you absorb into a content engine that drives real business outcomes. Over time, that presence will drive significant market awareness and become a sales accelerant through inbound interest, deal credibility, and category authority. This is a high-visibility, high-accountability role that requires someone who exercises extreme ownership, thrives in ambiguity, and performs well in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and deploy AI agents and workflows to capture raw material at scale; monitor what's being said across channels, surface relevant trends, capture insights from meeting transcripts and customer conversations, and feed the content pipeline.
  • Write and publish a consistent drumbeat of high-impact, founder-led content on LinkedIn, X, and other owned channels. This is the core job.
  • Shadow our CEO. Talk to customers. Interview front-line employees and company leaders to capture raw material and transform it into social optimized content at a high velocity.
  • Develop a distinct founder voice and a narrative that demonstrates Podium's credibility, expertise and differentiation. Help develop us as a category-defining voice in applied AI.
  • Own social engagement end-to-end -- not just publishing, but building workflows to comment, repost, like, and share consistently; maintaining a hit list of influential voices in the business, AI, and SMB space; and showing up in the right conversations to build Eric's presence and keep Podium in the zeitgeist.
  • Develop a distinct founder voice and narrative that positions Podium as the category-defining voice in applied AI for local business.
  • Stay obsessively current on trends in AI, SaaS, SMB, and the verticals Podium serves -- this person should already be all over X and immersed in these conversations before they apply.
  • Write long-form content when needed: essays, op-eds, bylines that build category authority.
  • Work with marketing and sales on moments worth amplifying -- launches, customer wins, category-defining data.

REQUIREMENTS
This is a high-caliber, entrepreneurial role. We're looking for someone who is sharp, hungry, and genuinely obsessed with AI -- who happens to also be a great communicator and storyteller.
  • Exceptional problem-solver and fast learner -- figures things out, generates ideas without being asked, and operates with full autonomy
  • Deep AI fluency and genuine hunger to build agents and workflows -- not just a user, a builder; should be able to show us what they've built or tinkered with
  • Exceptional writer and communicator -- able to produce sharp hooks, strong long-form POVs, and content that actually earns attention; social media fluency is a plus but underlying writing quality matters more
  • High executive presence -- polished, self-aware, and comfortable being in the room with a CEO week after week
  • Entrepreneurial spirit -- drawn to the upside and ownership of this role, not just the job description
  • High output, low ego -- produces a lot, takes feedback fast, not precious about drafts
  • Strong understanding of B2B SaaS, AI, and local business -- writes about our business with credibility, not just fluency

NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience building agentic content workflows (not just using AI tools, but wiring them together)
  • Familiarity with vertical industries (auto, home services, healthcare/aesthetics)
