Key Responsibilities
- Drive Design Strategy: Lead a multi-year redesign of high-traffic legacy web portals.
- UX Discovery: Conduct stakeholder interviews, user research, personas, and usability testing.
- Scale Systems: Develop and maintain enterprise design systems and component libraries.
- Build UI: Design and build responsive, accessible (WCAG/ADA) interfaces primarily using Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate & Mentor: Partner with cross-functional Agile teams and mentor junior designers.
- Experience: 6+ years of professional UI/UX design and web/mobile development experience.
- Design Stack: Advanced proficiency with Figma and design system management.
- Dev Stack: Front-end skills in JavaScript Frameworks, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- UX Methodologies: Proven track record in user research, information architecture, and responsive design.
- Compliance: Solid understanding of ADA/WCAG accessibility standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (prefer HCI, UX Design, Computer Science, or a related field)
- Location: 100% Remote (Must reside in EST or CST).
- Travel: Just once a year to our corporate office for team building.
- Flexibility: Open to Direct Hire OR Contract-to-Hire (6 months).
