Job description

As a Communications Partner II, you will, execute complex, multifunctional communications strategies through collaboration, competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification. You will lead collaboration with leaders and peers to gain an understanding of solutions, business strategy and healthcare industry to create content for assigned projects. You will create and curate communications from concept to completion including white papers, articles, web pages, social media, presentations, and other marketing collateral. You will manage and optimize communications within and across platforms and venues to increase the visibility of the company or an individual’s content. You will create standards to moderate user-generated content by monitoring submissions and determining appropriateness in accordance with the moderation policy for each community. You will consult with stakeholders on new communications trends and platforms and create approaches to positively leverage them or address emerging risks. You will establish success measures and present results of communication efforts.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education; including:
    • At least 1-year communications, corporate affairs and/or public relations work experience
    • At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education; including:
      • Bachelor’s in Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract, you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications
  • Federal Communications experience
  • Experience with client relationship management, and interpersonal business development
  • Experience presenting to C-level Executives
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation skills

Expectations
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Must be willing to travel to client site/office in DC as needed
  • Hybrid schedule (4 days in office/client site with ability to work from home some days when travel to sites is not needed)
  • 50% travel expectation to client site, in DC area
