Job description

Job Overview:
  • The UX Sr Researcher will be responsible for conducting user experience research to support human-centered design and product development decisions. 
  • The role involves planning and executing usability testing, analyzing research insights, and collaborating closely with product managers, designers, developers, and other researchers to improve user experience and drive evidence-based design decisions.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction, or related design discipline.
  • 3–5 years of qualitative UX research experience in a professional setting.
  • Experience in designing and conducting UX research studies and experiments.
  • Strong understanding of human-centered design principles.
  • Experience with UX research methods including usability testing (moderated and unmoderated), heuristic evaluation, A/B testing, task analysis, and survey design.
  • Proficiency with UX research tools such as UserZoom or UserTesting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of UX research experience with demonstrated ability to drive actionable insights.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative product development environments.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand project needs and define research goals in ambiguous or early-stage scenarios.
  • Develop research and testing plans to address key questions and hypotheses.
  • Conduct moderated and unmoderated usability testing.
  • Prepare testing materials, analysis plans, and research documentation.
  • Analyze findings and present insights connected to user needs, product goals, and existing research.
  • Translate research insights into actionable design recommendations.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and researchers to integrate findings into the product lifecycle.
  • Communicate research methods, timelines, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Advocate for UX research and ensure user-centered principles are applied in design decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve research processes, speed, and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on UX research tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Apply accessibility standards and human-centered design principles in evaluations.

Should Have:

  • Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Experience with accessibility standards and assistive technologies.
  • Ability to work in blended, cross-functional teams.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Strong understanding of UX research methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Anthropology, HCI, or related field.
