Senior Power BI Developer & UX Designer
Looking to make a major impact with a high-growth industry leader? We are hiring a Senior Power BI Developer & UX Designer to lead end-to-end data reporting solutions, translating complex datasets into intuitive, high-adoption analytics tools.
Working alongside a Product Manager and Data Engineer, you will own the full design lifecycleโ€”from initial stakeholder discovery to executive rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Dashboard Development: Architect production-ready Power BI reports focused on clear layout hierarchy, smooth navigation, and optimized UX.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product leadership to observe workflows and build tailored visual tools for both frontline operations and C-suite executives.
  • Design Standards: UX design, including creating a customer-first, user-centered experience. Establish and maintain organizational Power BI design patterns, visual guidelines, and reusable templates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Track post-launch adoption metrics and user feedback to refine tools and optimize usability.
  • Agile Workflow: Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and task estimation via Azure DevOps.
Core Qualifications
  • 5+ years designing and shipping production-level BI reporting solutions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Power BI authoring, DAX, interaction design, and visual styling. Strong UX design experience, including a proven track record in creating a customer-first, user-centered experience
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and DAX to collaborate smoothly with data teams.
  • User-Centric Approach: Ability to directly engage stakeholders across all levels to translate requirements into clean visual products.
Position Details
  • Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire | 100% Remote (EST working hours preferred)
