The UX/CX Program Manager will help translate ambitious product goals into well-structured, cross-functional programs by building project plans, defining milestones, managing dependencies, and keeping complex initiatives aligned and moving forward.

Contract Duration: Thru 12/31/26 (with option to extend or convert to FTE)

Location: 4 days onsite (Mon-Thurs) in Stamford, CT hub (and WFM on Fridays)

The Right Candidate Will Have

  • 3–5 years of experience in UX/CX program management, design operations, project management, or a similar cross-functional role
  • Experience working directly with UX, CX, research, design, content, or product teams
  • Strong understanding of how design and research teams operate within larger product development environments
  • Experience managing fast-moving, multi-stakeholder programs with competing priorities
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across operational, product, and team-health scenarios
  • Strong project planning skills, including milestone development, dependency tracking, and status reporting
  • Experience facilitating planning sessions, status reviews, retrospectives, and other program rituals
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present risks, trade-offs, and program status to both working teams and leadership
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to create trust across research, design, product, engineering, IT, and business teams
  • A process-oriented mindset with the ability to create scalable, repeatable workflows without adding unnecessary complexity

What You Will Do

  • Plan and manage complex UX/CX programs involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and workstreams
  • Build project plans, define milestones, track dependencies, and proactively identify risks or blockers
  • Partner closely with Customer Research, UX/CX Design, Strategy, Product, IT, Engineering, and Content teams
  • Develop scalable processes that improve cross-functional collaboration, handoffs, and overall program execution
  • Facilitate planning sessions, status reviews, retrospectives, and other team rituals that keep stakeholders informed and aligned
  • Communicate program progress, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs clearly to both delivery teams and leadership
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships across teams to maintain alignment around shared goals
  • Help teams prioritize work, clarify ownership, and navigate changing requirements or competing priorities
  • Identify operational gaps and opportunities to improve how customer experience and design initiatives are planned and delivered

What the Right Candidate Will Enjoy

  • Working closely with UX, CX, research, product, engineering, and business teams
  • Building the processes and operating rhythms that help creative and technical teams work effectively together
  • Owning highly visible, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-moving environment
  • Creating structure and clarity around complex programs without introducing unnecessary process
  • Developing strong relationships across a broad customer experience and product organization
