Job Summary:
THINKMD is a social impact benefit corporation focused on developing universally accessible clinical intelligence technology. They are seeking an experienced Front End UI/UX Web Application Developer to contribute to the design and development of digital health interfaces that positively impact global health.
Responsibilities:
• Work independently as a full-stack web developer contributing to the success of a small SaaS team
• Work with team members to design and architect new product functionality and modules.
• Developing, setting up and administering scalable data offerings
• Apply state-of-the-art UX practices
• Advise team members and Partners on matters of software architecture and engineering
• Apply and promote good software engineering practices such as test automation and simplification
• Program, design and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases to support core products, research and data analysis an modeling needs.
• Database design, management and administration.
• Health data and web-enabled APIs integration.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years JavaScript development experience
• Experience with Node/Vue/Vuetify/NoSQL/Git
• Experience with Firebase, CouchDB, Amazon Alexa or other NoSQL databases and tools
• Strong SQL and NoSQL experience
• Experience designing APIs and applications from concept to testing.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX.
• Excellent creative thinking and communication skills
• Problem solver who welcomes failure as learning process
Preferred:
• Experience with Heroku/Webpack/Feathers/Postgres/Nightwatch
• Experience with i18n language internationalization and localization
• Experience with Tableau, and automation of data streams/dashboards
• Experience with Health data APIs, FHIR
