Role Title: UX/UI Designer

Role Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

micro1 is engaging UX/UI Designers to contribute to a customer-focused project at the intersection of design and emerging technology. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required - your domain knowledge is what matters. This project presents a unique opportunity for experienced design professionals to leverage their UX/UI skills in a forward-looking, AI-driven initiative, all from the flexibility of a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Expert-level proficiency in UX/UI design methodologies, with a substantial portfolio demonstrating user-centered work across web and mobile platforms.
  2. Advanced experience with Figma, including prototyping and design system management.
  3. Demonstrated ability to interpret and leverage analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics for data-driven design decisions.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on clear documentation and constructive feedback.
  5. Experience working on agile, cross-functional projects as an independent contributor or consultant.
  6. Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities in designing for AI-driven products or digital experiences (nice to have, not required).
  7. A passion for exploring how human-centered design translates to the development of intelligent systems.

Compensation Structure

Compensation is output-based; experts are paid per task that meets the project specifications. The time required to complete work may vary depending on the expert's experience and workflow. Minimum submission requirements apply. Experts must submit a minimum of tasks per week.

Start Timeline & Availability
