RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Madison, WI that is seeking a UX Content Writer.
Role Overview:
As a UX Content Writer at American Family Insurance, you are responsible for executing end-to-end product messaging across user flows, ensuring that all user-facing content-from primary actions to edge cases and error states-is complete, consistent, and ready for production.
You will work within established content strategy and design system guidelines to write, document, and deliver UX content across features and products, with a strong emphasis on completeness, clarity, and usability.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure all flows are fully resolved from start to finish, with no missing or undefined messaging
* Deliver production-ready content within planned sprint cycles
* Maintain alignment with design system standards and content guidelines
* Collaborate with UX designers to review and refine error flows
* Support content strategist review and sign-off to ensure consistency and quality
* Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure all messaging needs are identified early
* Proactively identify gaps in messaging across products, features, or flows
* Ensure consistency of messaging across multiple products or surfaces
* Adapt content appropriately while maintaining shared terminology and tone
* Ensure content is easily understandable and implementable by partners
Write UX content for complete user journeys, including:
* Primary flows
* Edge cases
* Empty states
* Error and validation messaging
Document UX content clearly for:
* Design specifications
* Developer handoff
* Future reuse and iteration
Maintain up-to-date records of:
* Flow-level content
* Error states and variations
* Messaging patterns
REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
This role is highly collaborative and delivery-focused, requiring close partnership with UX designers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure that all messaging needs are identified, written, and implemented within defined sprint timelines.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
