Title: Sr. User Experience (UX) Designer
Location: Southfield, MI
Duration: 6 month (contract to hire)
Summary:
- We are seeking someone with a passion for user experience design to assist us in developing our next generation of web-based software products.
- As a part of the UX Design team you will assist in defining and executing an iterative UX development process to design & prototype future web-based products.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product teams to uncover business needs, develop design strategies and communicate your design solutions
- Design and specify the product experience using iterative design techniques including design studios, customer interviews and usability testing
- Produce design deliverables such as sketches, scenarios, wireframes, mental models and prototypes
- Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually
- Accountable for the quality of work, delivered within agreed procedures and timeframes and focused on internal and/or external customer needs
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to work in a cross-discipline, open and creative team
- Highly creative, detail-oriented, passionate about delivering the best user experience possible
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant experience in user-centric design
- Experience in rapid prototyping a plus
