Job description

Company Description We were early to the fight against Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance and we've been pushing the edge ever since. Our mission is to help government and enterprise organizations understand and manage commercial data risks, shape their digital signatures, and operate with confidence in an increasingly complex information landscape. We build and integrate advanced, tech-forward solutions to problems our customers often don't know they have - until it matters most. We move fast, think critically, and deliver where it counts. What's in it for you? We work hard and do fun things. You'll work on high-impact, technically challenging problems alongside a team that values teamwork over competition. Veilant offers a solid work-life balance and flexible remote work options. At Veilant, you'll work with the most talented software developers, systems engineers, and subject matter experts, building tools and systems that make a real difference. Job Description We are hiring a Defense Growth Lead to drive Veilant's expansion within the USCYBERCOM and cyber national security enterprise. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role built for someone who has operated in or alongside the cyber mission force and understands how technical credibility opens doors that conventional sales cannot. Priority areas include USCYBERCOM, its service cyber components, and the broader cyber defense and offense enterprise. This is not transactional sales. It is relationship-driven growth in high-trust environments where mission intimacy and technical credibility are the primary levers for success. You will be joining a specialized growth team that values technical depth over slick pitches, with the autonomy to solve hard problems and the backing of a world-class technical team. What You Will Accomplish in Your First 6 Months * Master the Mission Technology: Become deeply fluent in Veilant's secure technology and services, gaining the ability to speak credibly to cyber operators and senior decision makers about mission impact. * Establish Strategic Engagement: Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across USCYBERCOM and its component commands. * Scale the Small Win: Establish pilot engagements and develop a clear path to multi-year program growth. * Validate Market Hypotheses: Use your existing cyber community network to validate opportunities and shape Veilant's approach to this market. What You Will Do * Drive new business growth by leveraging credibility and established relationships within the cyber national security enterprise. * Analyze complex operational and technical needs in classified environments and map Veilant's solutions to those challenges. * Engage large primes and industry partners to build momentum and expand Veilant's footprint in the cyber market. * Lead development of strategic outreach materials including white papers, technical briefs, and proposals tailored to cyber mission leaders. * Represent Veilant at industry forums, private briefings, and technical demonstrations. * Support RFI and RFP responses with market intelligence and competitive positioning. * Travel to key cyber mission locations to build and maintain customer relationships. How You Will Be Measured * Quality and growth of qualified USCYBERCOM and cyber enterprise opportunities in the pipeline. * Successful execution of capture strategies, including customer shaping and teaming. * Achievement of annual bookings targets. * Contribution to proposal win rate and contract awards. * Depth and durability of customer relationships across the cyber mission enterprise. Qualifications What You Bring Must Haves: * Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred). * Deep operational familiarity with USCYBERCOM, its service cyber components, or the broader cyber national security enterprise. * Technical background in cyber operations, network communications, or related disciplines sufficient to maintain credibility with mission-focused stakeholders. * Proven ability to grow from early technical engagements into larger, enduring program relationships. * Willingness to travel frequently to key cyber mission hubs. Nice to Haves: * Familiarity with federal procurement including OTAs, GSA vehicles, and DoD budgeting cycles. * 3 or more years of proven experience in federal solutions or growth roles within the cyber domain. * Experience managing a pipeline of opportunities valued at $25M or more. * Experience in a high-growth technology company or in technical program management. Additional Information Why You'll Love Working Here: * Innovative Environment: Work in a setting where your ideas and expertise are valued.
* Collaborative Culture: Be part of a team that supports each other and works toward shared goals.
* Career Growth: Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
Here are some Perks! * Flexible PTO + holidays
