The Opportunity

As a dedicated Business Process Owner you will plan and coordinate activities for moderately complex processes, including problem definition, evaluation of requirements, design, testing, and implementation of business processes. Supports alignment of process to overall experience strategy and vision.

What you'll do:

  • Develop, sustain, and manage defined business processes through a structured approach.
  • Apply foundational knowledge of the business and assists with alignment of business deliverable processes and capabilities with business needs.
  • Identify, owns, executes, enhances, and aligns controls to mitigate operational and compliance risks as it pertains to owned processes.
  • Plan and coordinate the overall health of processes by developing control limits, monitoring key performance indicators, etc.
  • Assist with development of communication plans for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Responsible for adhering to management routines and creating reporting that clearly demonstrates the state of process performance. Identifies trends and opportunities for existing business process and proposes recommendations for enhancements.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluates business processes to lead continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Lead solution development including business case / benefits substantiation and drive business requirements for process improvement initiatives.
  • Support the execution of new and modifications to existing applications and processes to provide new or improved capabilities, products, and/or services.
  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
  • 2 years business process execution/knowledge/experience, consulting, and/or process engineering/optimization.
  • Working experience in process mapping, modeling and/or process documentation.
  • Knowledge of federal laws, rules, regulations, and applicable guidance to include: OCC Heightened Standards, BSA/AML, REG E, UDAAP/UDAP.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $62,470 - $111,940.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
