Our client, based in Acton, MA, is an industry leading provider of management support services in the ISO Standard based arena.
Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for evaluating documents including applications, contracts and technical audit reports in order to issue certification decisions. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with internal auditing and working to standard operating within a company that has adopted ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001. This position will require the ability to deal with a high volume of work in a time sensitive environment as well as a natural drive for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate Audit Reports and associated documents to support certification decisions, REO reviews and surveillance suitability for ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001.
  • Evaluate application and associated documents in Contract Review process for ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001.
  • Develop file review outputs through process feedbacks (training needs)
  • Review accreditation requirements for impact to company programs. (ANAB interpretations of ISO 17021-1)
  • Develop/Implement annual company training plans (internal/external) via Training Portal
  • Assist with sales visits and quotation review as needed
  • Support Quality/Operations/Business development departmental needs
  • Support Quality in auditor competence criteria process
  • Capture information from industry working groups (ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001) for inclusion in NQA, USA operations
  • Support the semi-annual staff training seminars including content, external resources.

Qualifications
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship and able to pass a drug test and DMV and background check
  • 4 years of experience working with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or OHS 18001 as a quality engineer, quality manager or quality control inspector
  • Work experience with a quality management system related company

Desired Skills/Education/Experience:
  • A Bachelor Degree
  • Knowledge of ISO 17021-1
  • Internal or Supplier Auditing experience
