Outpatient Infusion Nurse Practitioner: Women & Infants Hospital

Join the team, an established and highly respected collaborative practice providing a full continuum of the highest quality health care

Opportunity Highlights

  • Join an established multispecialty breast health group, specializing in breast and gynecologic oncology care; prior medical oncology experience preferred
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday days; no call
  • Core responsibilities of Infusion Center provider include responding to clinical queries, patient assessment and monitoring, medication dosing, monitoring for adverse reactions, and providing education throughout treatment.
  • Provider helps ensure timely access to care, continuity, and a seamless patient experience

What We're Looking For:

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • 1+ years of clinical experience in oncology, women's health, or surgical care preferred
  • Rhode Island APRN license (or eligibility)
  • Candidate will have experience with chemotherapy administration and responding to toxicities related to treatment.
  • Candidate will be able to assess patient readiness for chemotherapy and address clinical issues that may arise related to or independent of patient treatment
