Responsibilities:

  • Instruct our members who possess a cross-section of skill levels from entry level to expert, both male and female.
  • Ability to teach boxing fundamentals, footwork, hand and eye-coordination drills for new and advanced skilled boxers including warm-up, floor exercises and stretching.
  • Offer and sell personal training
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to confidently lead a class
  • Ability to work with members on a one-to-one basis during class including verbalizing commands, holding hand-pads, coaching members regarding technique and ensuring members do not hurt themselves during the training.
  • Ensure adherence to the standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the equipment before and after class.
  • Enroll current and potential members in our training program by building relationships and being their fitness expert.
  • Educate members and demonstrate proper use of equipment and fitness techniques related to strength training, conditioning, injury prevention, and sports medicine.
  • Build and maintain referral business within the club.
  • Attend a new hire and other training functions.
  • Participate in the overall safety, comfort, and cleanliness of the facility.
  • Maintain the highest level of professional ethics and compliance with all club rules, policies, and regulations.
  • Promote Legacy Boxing Clubโ€™s mission statement and core values.

Qualifications:

  • Possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to be a self-starter
  • Have the capacity to work with a team as well as independently
  • Competency to multi-task
  • Pass a certification class or training with Legacy Boxing Clubโ€™s coaching personnel
  • Pass a background check
  • Have or obtain Green Level Coachโ€™s

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass background
  • Current Personal Training certifications such as ACE, AFFA, IFPA, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, Premier, and Apex (note: if not currently certified with one of these organizations, but do have a different type of personal training certifications must be achieved within 90 days of employment).,or Green Level Boxing Coach Certification from USA Boxing.
  • Meet all physical demands required to demonstrate proper use of equipment and fitness techniques.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Enthusiasm for personal health and fitness.
