Visiting Instructor of Business and Economics
Ursinus College invites applicants for a one-year visiting instructor position beginning fall 2026. Responsibilities include teaching three courses per semester and some modest service. Courses will include Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics and elective of choice. Experience integrating the Bloomberg Terminals into course material is a plus.
Ursinus is a selective, independent, co-educational, residential liberal arts college of approximately 1,300 students located about 25 miles northwest of center city Philadelphia. With a diverse community of students, it is expected of all faculty to contribute to the inclusion, engagement, and success of all students.
Applicants must hold a master's degree or PhD in Economics or a closely related field.
Submit cover letter, CV, teaching statement (including your approach to inclusive teaching), and at least three recommendation letters, including one addressing teaching. Finalists will be asked to submit transcripts. We will take applications until the position is filled. To ensure consideration submit materials by June 20, 2026.
