The APRN may perform advanced nursing functions and certain medical acts which include, but are not limited to, ordering drugs, treatments and diagnostic studies such as provided in O.C.G.A 43-34-26.1 and Chapter 41-0-13. The APRN may perform those tasks which they are qualified to perform, for which the sponsoring physician has privileges, and for which protocols signed by the supervising physicians exist. The APRN participates in the QA and PI process and provides education and consultation services in area of expertise.

WORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATION
Works primarily in hospital setting, including clinical/patient care areas. Considerable walking, standing, stooping, bending, lifting (occasionally in excess of fifty (50) pounds). Duties require considerable walking, stooping, standing, bending, pushing, lifting (possibly in excess of 50 lbs.), occasional times of sitting, twisting, and kneeling.
