Job description

"We are seeking a RN - Emergency Department for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Watertown, New York. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply."

Job Details:
  • Shift: Night; 7p-7a
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Weekly Pay Rate: $1,980 - $2,160

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rapid assessment and triage of emergency patients
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Perform emergency procedures as needed
  • Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide patient and family education
  • Maintain accurate patient records

Certifications & Licenses:

  • Current RN License
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • PALS required or obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer
  • Must complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and be defibrillation certified within six months of employment
  • Must be IV, medication, and phlebotomy certified during orientation
Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Critical Care and charge experience preferred
    • Entry-level candidates may apply but must have a minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience

  • Charting System: MEDITECH charting experience required

Travel Considerations:

  • Candidates outside a 60-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
