In the role of Plate Mounter, you will be responsible for accurately mounting printing plates onto cylinders for use in our flexographic printing presses. This role is crucial to ensuring the quality and consistency of our printed packaging products.

This is a full-time on-site position located in Woodland, WA. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, 7 paid holidays (after 90 days of service), and generous PTO accruals from day on

Requirements:Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Prepare and inspect printing plates for mounting, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications;
  • Mount printing plates onto cylinders according to job specifications, ensuring proper alignment and registration;
  • Maintain accurate records of plate inventory and usage;
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production jobs;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to plate mounting or printing processes;
  • Work in a safe and effective manner at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in plate mounting or a similar role in the flexographic printing industry is preferred;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced production environment;
  • Ability to read a tape measure, and interpret job specifications & work instructions;
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills;
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
