Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test suites for software and embedded systems.
  • Perform functional, regression, UAT, and live environment testing across platforms.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as Jira, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Analyze system requirements and translate them into detailed test documentation and quality assurance protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and business analysts to ensure product readiness.
  • Support the implementation of Agile practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Evaluate product performance post-release using analytics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain quality documentation including FSDs, PRDs, and mock-ups.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new team members on QA processes and tools.
  • Risk minimization through use of appropriate risk assessment tools and verification of the robustness of detection and prevention systems for special characteristics.
  • Support the development and maintenance of FMEA's and control plans
  • Support the definition of quality processes and technical standards in cooperation with development, product management and manufacturing to ensure product quality.
  • Support the planning and evaluation of product test drives within quality and approvals of functions and systems.
  • Provide quality support to the technical and manufacturing teams, as well as drive/support daily operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the team:
  • Higher Diploma in Software Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, and business analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
  • Proficiency in QA tools such as Jira, YouTrack, and test management platforms.
  • Experience with cross-platform testing and bug tracking.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level (preferred).
  • PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner (preferred).
